LOS ANGELES, CA (January 31, 2022) – BOOM! Studios today revealed a first look at THE KILLER #1, the return of the Eisner Award-nominated series by acclaimed French artist Luc Jacamon and writer Matz (The Black Dahlia), with a brand new six-issue series AFFAIRS OF THE STATE, bringing readers into the Killer’s high-stakes world of espionage and contract killing before the upcoming Netflix film directed by David Fincher (The Social Network), written by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en), and starring Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class).

Caught and put to work as an on-call assassin for the French government, Killer has to adjust to working with a handler, a partner, and living life as a civilian. Dan Panosian is an acclaimed comic book writer and artist who hails from Cleveland, Ohio and lives in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his work as an illustrator for Marvel, DC Comics, and Image Comics, as well as his work in the video game, film, and television industries. Panosian created the original comic book series An Unkindness of Ravens with BOOM! Studios and Slots for Image Comics with Skybound Entertainment, and continues to illustrate covers for Marvel Entertainment, DC Comics, BOOM! Studios, and more.

Giorgio Spalletta is an artist from Italy. Launching in March 2022, this monthly miniseries will be a collaboration between two of the comic industry’s most exciting talents, writer Cullen Bunn (Deadpool, Green Lantern, Godzilla: Cataclysm) and artist Freddie Williams II (Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man/ThunderCats).

When Rita Repulsa uses an ancient artifact to transport herself to a universe without Power Rangers, she finds herself in a world with aliens, kaiju, and… Godzilla!
