On late July 4th, 2026 my mother passed away after a long illness caused via stroke of unknown cause. A blessing in disguise as she was miserable as much as I attempted to give her quality of life as rehab did not seem to be happening as much effort was made. I was up till early hours July 5th dealing with the hardcore buerocracy of what happens when you call 911 to assist with a home ending. It then took me a week or more to handle some of the aftermath and another week of the aftermath of the aftermath, and I am not done. There is so much in settling when someone passes and their life, affairs and finances were tied to yours.
This has meant while I keep my sanity daily by checking on pop-culture news, while also playing Dave the Diver in The Jungle, Desktop Explorer and other games, doing a binge of the TV show BONES from the begining, planning my future and more I haven’t documented it on this site. I also recently have gone to wrestling shows and filmed and edited special vlogs of those that are on Youtube. Anyways, the last Nerd Notes was over 22 days ago. I’m going to be select here in things, but with SDCC 2026 starting tonight and then going cray cray today I wanted to get this happening before I was overwhelmed in things to share.
Because of the time between Nerd Notes this time I won’t be breaking down by category. I’ll just share from my history as I see fit and quick comment in captions.
