Experience love, loneliness and letting go in this narrative-driven adventure game coming to PC.
3 SEPTEMBER 2024 – Australian/Ukrainian duo Spoonful of Wonder have announced that their intimate, narrative-driven game Copycat, perfect for pet lovers, is coming September 19 (US/EU) and September 20 (AUS/NZ), published by Neverland Entertainment and Nuuvem. This three-hour game will be available on Steam, for USD $14.99 (regional prices will vary).
Copycat is a game that blends ethics, aesthetics and wonder. Gameshub called it “a complex, moving narrative experience” and Kotaku said it’s “perfect for cuddling on the couch with your pet while you play”. Indie Games Devel called it “a story that is sweet and melancholic”. TechRadar said “tears will flow the further you sink your claws in.”
The demo is available on Steam, and the full game will be coming September 19 with a 10% Steam launch discount. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox versions are in development and coming at a later date (TBD). Copycat is a Screen Australia-funded project.
