(*it’s a Monkee’s reference, last train to clarksville)
A pinch of Poirot and Hastings, a dash of Sherlock and Watson, a dollop of Blanc, a smattering of Phoenix Wright, a bit of Professor Layton, throw it in a blender with the world of Chicken Police, then fry it and dip it in Hammet, Chandler, Simenon and sprinkle with adorable illustrative work and you sort of get the recipe for Moses & Plato: Last Train to Clawville.
A visual novel with gameplay mechanics, one of the greatest stregnghts are the voice acting, which happen to be performing great scripting. The characters are all so interesting and I feel upon first meeting of each one you get a great grasp of who they are and desire to know more.

I haven’t gotten to the end, but that is because I like to enjoy things like this in bits and pieces. Savor the art and just let it sit with me. Taking months to finish something might only be 6-12 hours.

That image above is basically me while watching. Deeply intriguing, pulled in and proudly inquisitive, confused, questioning and ready for anything.
Moses & Plato: Last Train to Clawville releases April 14, 2026 on Steam for 19.99 USD.
