As a kid I made myself (with parental assistance) a Batman ’66 costume for a contest at a convention. Unbeknownst to me the judge of the costume contest was Batman ’66 himself Adam West. Invariably I was awarded handsomely with a large comic book collection to this day I am unsure how we got home (I think we had a car). This is my best Batman story. Maybe my only Batman story. I have put on a Batman mask since, seen an onscreen Batman costume, played as Batman in video game, enjoyed the hell out of Batman inspired media and currently read all the Batman comics (Detective, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, etc., etc., etc.).
